To our Guest,

On behalf of the brothers of Sigma Memphis, welcome to our redesigned website. I invite you to explore and connect with us as we continue to serve the Memphis Metropolitan area. One of the key goals of this administration was to open various avenues of communication through increased visibility. I am excited about our ability to reconnect with brothers and establish new relationships around the Memphis area.

This year we celebrate 110 years of Brotherhood, Scholarship and Service. The year will be filled with a plethora of events and service opportunities as we display the great work that Phi Beta Sigma is doing in the city of Memphis. Join us as we thunder back and speed the cause of Phi Beta Sigma on its way.

Tau Iota Sigma Chapter Programs

Our Fraternity was founded on three main principles - Brotherhood, Scholarship and Service - and we pride ourselves on our commitment to these principles each day.

EDUCATION

The Education program developed from the Fraternity’s traditional emphasis on education academic achievement as an ingredient for success. During the 1945 Conclave in St. Louis, Missouri, the Fraternity engaged in a restructuring of its programming, leading to the birth of Education as an International program. The program focuses on providing a variety of services to alumni and collegiate members of the Fraternity, which in turn translates to services to local communities. In-house programs include providing scholarships, conferences, college fairs, mentoring and tutoring at local, regional and national levels.
